Pirates/Padres in deep discussion.

Well today has been an exciting day. A new rumor has hit the scene. The Padres are apparently very high on getting Jason Bay from the Pirates. The Pirates would likely trade Bay to the them, but under one condition. The Pirates want top 3rd Base prospect Chase Headley from the Padres. As of right now it appears that the Padras have no interest in trading Headley to the Pirates although that could change if the Pirates offer more. I would think Bay and Morris would be able to land us Headley. More information as it becomes available.

THE LAST DAY!!!!

Today is the last day of not listening to the Beatles/Who. Today I will be having my last band practice of the week before my gig. I'm sure today I will eat another cookie at some point AND IT WON'T BE STAIL.

Band practice for the rest of this week.

Well I will be practicing for the rest of this week because our gig is on Saturday and we want to make sure we play everything perfect. This will definetely keep me occupied for the remaining days of giving up the Beatles/Who.

Band practice.

Right now it is 4:05PM and I am still in school at the moment. When I leave at 4:30 I will be going straight to band practice because we have a small gig next week and we need to practice a lot this week. Since I won't be home till around 8:00PM it won't be hard at all to keep myself from listening to the Beatles/Who because I will be off playing my own music for most of the day.

Writing my own Beatleish songs

Well since I can't listen to the Beatles I have written a song (well half of a song) that's very Beatleish. It makes me feel like I'm listening to the Beatles even though I'm not, especially the second song on this link.

I guess I have been doing pretty good in finding other things to do musically without using the Beatles or the Who for insperation.

Christmas shopping

Well today is day two of not listening to the Beatles/Who. I did listen to Bob Dylan again today. He was a big influence on the Beatles so i guess it's ony natural for me to like him.

I went and did some christmas shopping with my mom today, although when I left I didn't buy anyone anything mainly because we were at Dicks for over 2 hours and there wasn't anything there that I was buying anyone, although I did pick a bowling ball I want for christmas. Going shopping kept me occupied so it wasn't to hard to keep myself from listening to the Beatles/Who because I wasn't home for a good portion of the day to listen to them.

Today is Thanksgiven which means it is November 22 which means I now cannot listen to the Beatles/The Who for a week. So far things are going pretty well. I listened to Bob Dylan today and right now I'm starving myself before Thanksgiveing dinner.

It is now November 14th. only 8 more days before I can no longer listen to a single Beatle/Who song for a whole week.

I will be giving up something that means a lot to me. I give up listening to the Beatles and the Who. I listen to these two groups pretty much everyday at one point, and It will be hard to go through a week without listening to a Beatle or Who song for inspiration.
